LAHORE, Nov 09 (APP): Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has said that the Pakistan envisioned by Allama Muhammad Iqbal (RA) is now taking shape before our eyes.
In her message on the occasion of Iqbal Day on Sunday, she said that the Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA) and Allama Muhammad Iqbal (RA) is shining like the sun among the nations of the world.
Azma Bokhari noted that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, inspired by Allama Iqbal’s philosophy, is transforming Punjab into a true welfare-oriented province. “Transparency, good governance, and public service are evident in every initiative led by her,” she added.
The minister said that Allama Iqbal’s philosophy and vision laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan, as the Shair-e-Mashriq inspired the Muslims of the subcontinent to dream of an independent homeland through his poetry and thought.
She further stated that the dream Allama Iqbal saw is now being realised, with Pakistan emerging as a strong, progressive, and dignified nation on the global stage. “The purpose for which Pakistan was created is now visibly reflected in the leadership and welfare-focused policies of Maryam Nawaz,” Azma Bokhari remarked.
