ABBOTTABAD, Mar 04 (APP):The administration of Ayub Teaching Hospital(ATH) Wednesday issued a strict policy regarding the use of social media and contact with media representatives, warning employees against sharing any hospital-related information online.
According to the official notification, all employees have been strictly directed not to post, share, or disseminate any content related to the hospital, its patients, or internal institutional matters on social media platforms. The directive applies to staff of all cadres, designations, and departments without exception.
The notification further states that no employee is authorized to publish hospital-related material on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media forum.
The hospital administration clarified that all official information, announcements, and media-related communications will be issued solely through the institution’s designated Media Manager. Employees have been prohibited from independently contacting media representatives, issuing statements, or establishing any form of media linkage.
The administration has warned that any violation of the policy will result in strict disciplinary action in accordance with the institution’s rules and regulations.
