ABBOTTABAD, Jul 10 (APP):Ayub Teaching Hospital (ATH) on Wednesday has bolstered its readiness to manage any unforeseen circumstances during the 9th and 10th Muharram processons and gatherings.
Under the supervision of Hospital Director Dr. Atif Lodhi, Head of Administration Dr. Jameel Akbar has established the Security Office as the designated Emergency Control Room.
In anticipation of potential emergencies, ATH has activated a dedicated Emergency Control Room reachable at 920164-0992. This initiative ensures that medical personnel, including doctors and paramedics, are on standby to respond promptly. All operation theaters have been fully stocked with essential emergency supplies to facilitate immediate medical intervention if needed.
Moreover, ATH’s blood bank has secured ample reserves across all blood groups to meet any critical demands. The hospital has also bolstered its inventory of life-saving medications and essential drugs to cater to emergent medical needs.
To further enhance emergency services during 9th and 10th Moharram, the ATH has equipped its facilities with necessary medical equipment and implemented comprehensive contingency plans. These measures aim to effectively handle a potential surge in patient admissions to emergency wards.
