AWHP Hyderabad holds grand reception in Honour of Abid Lashari
HYDERABAD, Jun 22 (APP):The Association of Welfare of Handicap Persons (AWHP) Hyderabad organized a grand reception in honour of Abid Lashari, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, President NDF Pakistan, in recognition of his outstanding services for persons with disabilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Saeed Khan, President AWHP, Mr Mateen Khan, General Secretary, and senior member Naeem Ahmed Qureshi acknowledged Abid Lashari’s valuable support during the early days of AWHP.
They stated that Abid Lashari is a true leader whose dedication and commitment to disability inclusion have earned him national recognition through the prestigious Civil Award, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, conferred by the Government of Pakistan.
Addressing the gathering, Lashari expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and assured his continued support to the disability community in Hyderabad and surrounding areas.
He remarked that receiving the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz is not only an honour but also a great responsibility to work harder for the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
Engineer Anwar Ali Sial and Engineer Khursheed Ahmed Khokhar also appreciated the remarkable efforts of NDF Pakistan in promoting disability rights, rehabilitation services, and social inclusion across Sindh.
