SARGODHGA, Nov 08 (APP): An awareness seminar was organized at the Divisional Public School and College Sargodha to educate students and staff about the jurisdiction, services, and complaint filing procedure of the Office of the Ombudsman of Punjab.
The seminar, presided over by the school’s Principal, featured a special address by Muhammad Ilyas Gul, Advisor of the Regional Office Sargodha. In his speech, Gul emphasized the Ombudsman’s role in delivering justice to citizens by offering a simple and efficient system for addressing public grievances related to government departments.
He highlighted that complaints can be filed online, by post, or in person at the Regional Office, ensuring that they are processed promptly.
The seminar, which saw active participation from students and teachers, provided detailed insights into the scope of the Ombudsman’s work, the public services offered, and the various stages involved in filing a complaint. The session concluded with a question-and-answer round, where students raised queries about the institution’s role and complaint resolution process.
