HYDERABAD, Oct 21 (APP):The meeting of the District Steering Committee Sanghar was held under the chair of Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Mola Dad Durrani. The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Information Zafar Mangi, representatives of the education and health departments, District Manager PPHI, Social Welfare Officer and other officials.
According to a handout issued on Tuesday, during the meeting, directions were issued to the officers of the information department to launch a public awareness campaign through print, electronic and social media regarding the upcoming measles and rubella vaccination campaign, which will be conducted across the district from November 17 to November 29, 2025.
On this occasion, ADC-II emphasized that to protect the public from measles, everyone must work in close coordination with the health department to ensure the safety and well-being of the people of the district. Representative from UNICEF Aftab Ahmed and Dr. Bilal from WHO were also present at the meeting.
