ATOCK, Feb 25 (APP): Attock Police carried out extensive search operations across various areas of the district, in continuation of ongoing operations against criminal elements and suspicious individuals.
According to APP correspondent, police teams checked a total of 996 individuals, 388 houses, and 9 hotels and guest houses. As a result of these actions, 11 suspects were arrested and cases were registered against them. Additionally, 9 Afghan nationals residing illegally were shifted to an Afghan camp.
During the search, 20 liters of liquor were recovered, leading to the registration of 2 cases. Four cases were registered for illegal weapons possession. Furthermore, 3 cases were registered under the Tenancy Act for failure to register tenancy. One case was registered against a professional beggar and another against an illegal gas refilling agency.
District Police Officer (DPO) Attock reiterated that indiscriminate action against criminal elements will continue and that maintaining law and order in the district remains the top priority.
