ATC dismisses bail of banned religious party leader

LAHORE, Nov 12 (APP):An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday dismissed the pre-arrest bail petition of a banned religious party leader, Muhammad Bilal Ayub, in a terrorism case.

ATC Judge Irfan Haider announced the verdict. Following the dismissal, the accused fled from the courtroom.

Sunder police had registered a case against Bilal Ayub. He was accused of leading a mob that allegedly attacked police personnel and was involved in incidents of arson and rioting.
