RAWALPINDI, Dec 26 (APP):The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was accorded a warm and vibrant welcome upon his arrival in Rawalpindi, as the Punjab Council of the Arts (PCA), Rawalpindi, organized a grand cultural reception showcasing the rich and diverse heritage of Pakistan.
A spectacular cultural presentation was arranged on the route to Rawalpindi, featuring traditional performances from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Balochistan, and Sindh.
The colorful performances highlighted the unity in diversity of Pakistan and reflected the country’s deep-rooted cultural traditions.
A troupe comprising 120 male and female artists participated in the event, presenting folk dances, music and traditional displays that captivated the distinguished guest and accompanying delegation.
Senior officers from the district management and officials of the Punjab Council of the Arts, Rawalpindi, were also present on the occasion.
