APWA organises summer internship certificates distribution ceremony

MULTAN, Jul 30 (APP): A certificate distribution ceremony was held at the Ladies Club Multan to mark the successful completion of the Summer Internship Programme 2025, organized by the All Pakistan Women Association (APWA) Multan.
The event was attended by a large number of young female interns, their parents, APWA officials, distinguished guests, and prominent women from society.
The ceremony was presided over by Mrs. Farah Faisal, Vice Chairperson of APWA Multan. Notable guests included Mrs. Maryam Rizwan Ghumman, Dr. Farzana Kokab, Dr. Maimoona, Dr. Seerat Fatima, Fariha Munir, Shafiq Ahmed (Group Head, Allied Bank), Hina Chughtai, and Muhammad Saleem Qadeer.
Prominent APWA officials present at the event included General Secretary Nazia Yasir, Joint Secretary Tehmina Munir, and Executive Committee Members: Tahira Najam, Nadia Waseem, Yasmin Bukhari, Dr. Shehla Aftab, and Alia Nabeel. The principal of APWA Multan, Mrs. Abida Ashfaq, also graced the event. Special participation was noted from Mrs. Faiza Khalid, Mrs. Rabia Rehman, Mrs. Shireen Qadeer, Mrs. Naheed Chaudhry Zulfiqar, Rabaa Bosan, Ms. Fizza Ahmed, Mrs. Samra, Mrs. Samar Qasim, and Mrs. Tania Ashfaq.
In her address, Ms Farah Faisal congratulated the organizing team and participants on the successful execution of the internship program. She emphasized that APWA has always been committed to nurturing the talents of women and youth, enabling them to succeed in both social and professional spheres. She highlighted that the internship program not only provided educational enrichment but also focused on moral and social development.
General Secretary Nazia Yasir, during her multimedia presentation, shed light on APWA’s initiatives and various courses. In her speech, she stated, “Our aim is to equip the youth with self-confidence, leadership skills, and practical knowledge. We are pleased that all participating students demonstrated great enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the program.”
As part of the internship, students were trained in various sectors including health, mental development, and sustainable development goals.
A total of 32 students took part in the programme At the end of the event, certificates were distributed among the successful interns.
Parents appreciated APWA’s efforts and stated that such programs are a valuable means of positively guiding and shaping the younger generation.
