LODHRAN, Jun 19 (APP):Allotment letters were distributed among 15 successful beneficiaries under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s flagship “Apni Zameen Apna Ghar” programme during a ceremony held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Friday.
Under the initiative, a total of 183 confirmed residential plots were being allotted free of cost to deserving and homeless people across the district. During the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ashraf handed over allotment orders to 15 successful beneficiaries selected through a transparent balloting process.
The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Muhammad Tayyab, ADC Finance and Planning Hafiz Muhammad Zafar, and Deputy Director PHATA Wajahat Ali.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner described the programme as a revolutionary initiative launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to address the housing needs of underprivileged families. He said the allotment of residential plots would help turn the dream of home ownership into a reality for many deserving citizens.
Muhammad Ashraf emphasized that the selection process was conducted with complete transparency and merit.
He congratulated the successful beneficiaries and termed the programme a source of prosperity for the deserving families.
He urged the beneficiaries to take possession of their plots and begin construction of their homes, adding that allotment orders would soon be distributed among the remaining successful applicants.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
