MIRPUR (AJK), Oct 29 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq reaffirmed his commitment to remain true to his oath.
“As long as I hold authority as Prime Minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir government, I will continue the mission of serving masses till last, ” he said while addressing a high-level meeting on Wednesday.
He continued that practical measures have been taken to ensure the provision of health, education, and other basic necessities of life.
“Improvements have been made in the food supply, quality, and distribution system,” he noted.
He emphasized that health and education remain among his top priorities, and that all government resources are being utilized for public welfare. He added that collective interest has always been prioritized over personal interest.
Reiterating his resolve, the PM said that the mission of public service will continue at all costs with renewed planning and determination.
Earlier, the Prime Minister received a detailed briefing on tax collection, future targets, planning, and the challenges being faced.He was also apprised of matters related to food quality, flour distribution, allocation, basic reserves, and inland revenue affairs.
The meeting was attended by his cabinet colleagues including Ministers Col. (R) Waqar Ahmed Noor, Nisar Ansar Abdali and Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, Senior Member Board of Revenue Sardar Zafar, Principal Secretary Sardar Zafar Mahmood, Secretary Food Sardar Sohail Azam, Chairman AJK Central Board of Revenue Chaudhry Raqeeb and other relevant officials.
