HYDERABAD, Oct 02 (APP):Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad Tariq Qureshi has said that anti-Polio drive was a national obligation and related departments should play their pivotal role to carry out campaign amicably.
He expressed these views during the visit polio centers after inauguration of anti polio drive. DC assured that District administration would extend every possible cooperation for the safety of Polio teams so that 100 per cent results could be achieved.
DC also visited Alfalah Transit Point, Services hospital Taluka Qasimabad and other places and reviewed drive arrangements. Additional Deputy Commissioner Qaim Akber Numai, Dr. Bisma Memon and other concerned officers were also accompanied by him.
All children under the age of five will receive polio drops as part of the Polio drive in 163 Union Councils. To accomplish this, 1565 mobile teams, 151 fixed teams, 64 transit teams, and 8 roaming teams have been constituted, and they will all be under the supervision of 378 area incharges and 104 UC medical officers.
