Anti-polio campaign achieves 93pc target in two days in Sargodha

SARGODHA, Oct 15 (APP):The ongoing anti-polio campaign in the district is progressing successfully, with 302,713 children vaccinated in the first two days—achieving 93% of the targeted coverage for this phase.

According to a press release issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, the progress was reviewed in a meeting of the District Anti-Polio Committee chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Waseem on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by CEO Health Dr Sarah Safdar, DHO Dr Shahzad Gill, a representative from the World Health Organization (WHO), and officers from other relevant departments.
