FAISALABAD, Aug 19 (APP):The anti-littering squads have been mobilised in the city under CM Punjab’s Suthra Punjab Programme to stop garbage spread here on Wednesday.
According to official sources, the squad started its activities from the Clock Tower Chowk and provided awareness about cleanliness to the shopkeepers and general public. They told them to use bins for throwing garbage instead of open places.
The shopkeepers were also advised to keep their shops and surrounding areas neat and clean for a healthy environment.
This special initiative aims to make the sanitation system in the city more effective, reduce environmental pollution and raise awareness about cleanliness among citizens.
