HYDERABAD, Dec 08 (APP):The district administration on Monday organized an awareness rally from Shahbaz Building in connection with International Anti-Corruption Day. The rally was led by the Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abidin Memon and attended by officers and staffers of various government departments.
Talking to the media after the rally, the Deputy Commissioner Memon said that awareness activities and rallies against corruption were essential to deliver a strong message to society. He added that such initiatives serve as an effective deterrent to those who attempt to promote corrupt practices.
“We will continue to raise our voice and work together. With unity and determination, we can bring positive change to society. The core message of today’s rally is that we stand united against corruption,” the DC emphasized.
On the occasion, Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Establishment Hyderabad Zone Shafaat Ali Mirza said the purpose of the rally was to raise public awareness and reaffirm that all departments were on the same page regarding the elimination of corruption. He added that corruption can only be eradicated through collective efforts, while the public should also know that the Anti-Corruption Department was the forum where action can be taken against corrupt practices.
