LAHORE, Jul 10 (APP):The Punjab Police have arrested another proclaimed offender (PO) after four years from Saudi Arabia.
According to the Punjab police spokesperson, the fugitive, Imdad Hussain, had been wanted by the Ferozewala Police, Sheikhupura, since 2020 in a murder and attempted murder case. The Punjab Police, in collaboration with Interpol, issued a red notice and maintained continuous follow-up. The Saudi Arabian police arrested the fugitive and handed him over to Pakistan. Punjab Police team took the fugitive into custody at the airport.
The spokesperson said that the total number of fugitives arrested from abroad this year has reached 50.
