PESHAWAR, Jun 29 (APP):The body of another child who was swept away in the Swat flash flood has been recovered from Charsadda, raising the total death toll to 14 with one child still missing.
According to rescue sources on Sunday, the body was identified as 11-year-old Daniyal from Mardan, who had been missing since the incident.
Due to the condition of the body, identification was initially difficult, but family members later confirmed it after being notified by Swat authorities.
Rescue 1122’s water rescue teams, under the supervision of the District Emergency Officer of Swat, continue their search operations for the remaining missing child, who is reportedly from Sialkot.
Daniyal’s funeral prayer was held at 3:00 PM in Nawan Kali.
