Announcement of providing complete “door-to-door” facilities for Hajj-2026 pilgrims

LAHORE, Dec 15 (APP):For Hajj 2026, a “door-to-door” service will be provided to provide all the needs and facilities to the pilgrims, including worship.
According to the sources in Ministry of Religious Affairs here, the pilgrims will be guided and assisted at every stage, from the stage of departure from the airport in Pakistan to their stay in Saudi Arabia, worship and return home.
Furthermore, the pilgrims will be provided with immediate assistance in the form of worship, accommodation, transport and illness in Makkah and Madina so that the pilgrims can perform their Hajj smoothly.
Under the arrangements for Hajj 2026, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will procure the services of 880 pilgrim-servants. Government officers will be eligible for the appointment of male and female administrators and support staff.
Similarly, grade 17 and 18 officers have been declared eligible for the position of pilgrim servants, while their age limit has been set at 45 years.
The age limit for field assistants has been set at 25 to 45 years, while employees in grades 11 to 16 will be eligible for this category.
Ministry sources further informed APP, disabled people, people with weak physique will be ineligible for assistants, while people suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes and heart diseases will also not be eligible for Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj.
It has been further stated that a five-kilometer run (race) will be a mandatory condition for success for candidates who succeed in the written test.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs says that the aim of these measures is to provide better, organized and dignified facilities to Hajj pilgrims so that they can perform Hajj easily.
