Anisa Memon Visits SIMS Hospital to Review Healthcare Facilities

HYDERABAD, Oct 09 (APP):Renowned educationist, literary and social figure and women’s rights advocate Anisa Memon visited Shahdadpur Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) Hospital along with its Director Dr Bashir Ahmed Jamali, to review the available healthcare facilities there.
During the visit, she inspected various departments of the hospital including the emergency ward, dialysis unit, laboratory, children’s ward and the SICHN Shahdadpur Unit established with the support of the Sindh government.
On the occasion, Dr Bashir Ahmed Jamali briefed her on the medical facilities being provided in different departments and the hospital’s administrative affairs. Anisa Memon also identified areas requiring further improvement and discussed key measures to provide better healthcare services to patients.
According to a handout issued on Friday, Anisa Memon will revisit SIMS Hospital Shahdadpur with her team in the coming days to review progress on further improvements and the provision of essential facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Anisa Memon said the visit aimed to improve treatment facilities for patients and make the hospital’s system more effective.
She further announced that medical camps focusing on gynaecological and skin diseases among women would also be established at Shahpur Chakar Rural Health Centre. The camps will be organized after announcing a confirmed date in the coming days.
Dr Irfan, Dr Sanobar Irfan, Dr Sikandar Shah and other doctors and paramedical staff of SIMS hospital were also present during the visit.
