RAWALPINDI, Nov 25 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested two suspected drug traffickers and seized as many as 55.07 kilograms of narcotics worth Rs 4.1 million in three separate operations carried out across the country, an ANF Headquarters spokesman said on Tuesday.
He stated that 540 grams of hashish were recovered from an accused near a college on Fateh Jang Road, Attock. In a similar operation in the same district, 530 grams of hashish were seized from another suspect near an educational institution.
According to the spokesman, both arrested men admitted during initial questioning that they had been selling drugs to students of local colleges.
In a separate intelligence-based operation, the ANF recovered 54 kilograms of hashish from CPEC Road in Panjgur.
Cases have been registered against all the suspects under the Narcotics Control Act, and further investigations are in progress, he added.
