FAISALABAD, Sep 27 (APP):Force Commander/Regional Director Anti-Narcotics Force Brig Sakandar Hayyat
called on Divisional Commissioner Silwat Saeed at the Municipal Corporation Office
here on Wednesday.
They expressed views for a complete eradication of drug menace from the society.
The commissioner lauded the performance of Anti-Narcotics Force in curbing the
menace in the society and said that effective measures were being taken to save
the youth from this menace.
She said that inspection of tuck shops outside the educational institutes had been
made more effective and strict legal action was being taken against the elements
involved in illegal practice.
She said the divisional administration would extend all out coordination with the
anti-narcotics force.
Earlier, Brig Sakandar Hayyat told the commissioner about the measures taken
against drug peddlers and to save the younger generation from the menace of
drugs.
He said that coordination of divisional as well as district admins was imperative.
