RAWALPINDI, Nov 03 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducted 5 operations across the country, recovered as many as 37 kilograms of drugs worth Rs 29.7 million and arrested 3 suspects, including a woman, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Monday.
He informed that 8 kg of ice absorbed into clothes was recovered from a parcel sent to New Zealand at a courier office on Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi.
During another operation on Shahra-e-Faisal, 2.6 kg of heroin hidden in a face mask was recovered from a parcel sent to London.
As many as 6 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of a woman on Pindi Pul, Bannu Road, Kohat.
Similarly, 400 grams of ice hidden in a water cooler were recovered from the Clifton area of Karachi, and 2 accused were arrested on the spot.
As much as 20 kg of heroin hidden in bushes was recovered in the Chosak area, District Catch.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act, and further investigations are underway.
