RAWALPINDI, Oct 29 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducting 5 operations across the country, recovered as many as 67.71 kilograms of drugs worth more than Rs 9.4 million and arrested 6 suspects, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Wednesday.
He reported that 2 kg of weed was recovered from toy’s parcel sent from the US at the cargo shed of Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore.
As many as 8 kg of ice and 1 kg of heroin were recovered from a truck near Ravi Toll Plaza Lahore and 3 accused were arrested.
Similarlry,6 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of 3 accused riding a motorcycle near Al-Asif Square Karachi.
In another operation,710 grams of hashish was recovered from vehicle parts in a parcel sent to Faisalabad at the courier office located at Haji Camp Bus Terminal ,Peshawar.
As much as 50 kg of hashish was recovered from Coper Coastal Line, Pasni, District Gwadar.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act, and further investigations are underway.
