RAWALPINDI, Oct 24 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducting 11 operations across the country, recovered as many as 26.577 kilograms of drugs worth more than Rs 17.7 million and arrested 11 suspects, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Friday.
He reported that 6 kg of ice was recovered from a vehicle near the Sher Shah Toll Plaza in Multan, and the accused was arrested.
In another operation,1.2 kg of hashish was recovered from a motorcycle rider near a college in Doraha, Mansehra and the accused was arrested.
Similarly,1.262 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of a suspect near a university area in Islamabad.
As many as 560 grams of hashish were recovered from the possession of a suspect riding a motorcycle near a university area in Attock.
The arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students of educational institutions.
During another action, 660 grams of ice were recovered from the possession of a passenger traveling to Sri Lanka at Multan International Airport.
A total of 493 grams of ice were recovered from a passenger going to Doha at Bacha Khan Airport, while 38 ice-filled capsules weighing 180 grams were recovered from his stomach, and 313 grams of ice were recovered from his shoes.
As much as 135 grams of weed hidden in shoes were recovered from a parcel sent from the UK at the courier office located in Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi.

Similarly,4.095 kg of heroin and 2.5 kg of ice were recovered from a vehicle in Head Blocki District, Kasur, and 2 accused were arrested.
As much as 0.624 kg of hashish was recovered from the shoes of an accused on Adayala Road, Rawalpindi.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act, and further investigations are underway.
