Allama Iqbal’s thought, philosophy of selfhood beacon for youth: Governor

KARACHI, Nov 09 (APP): Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori in his message to the nation on the birth anniversary of thinker of Pakistan and poet of East Allama Muhammad Iqbal said that Iqbal’s thought, vision, and philosophy of selfhood were a beacon for the youth.
        Allama Muhammad Iqbal was the true companion of father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
       The Governor of Sindh said that foundation of Pakistan includes Iqbal’s dream and the light of Quaid’s struggle.
      He said that Iqbal’s dream was of a free, self-reliant, dignified, and developed Pakistan.
      Tessori said Today, we must pledge to make Iqbal’s thoughts an integral part of our practical lives, national character, and collective behavior.
      Iqbal’s poetry carries the message of awakening, unity, and self-respect for the Muslim Ummah, he said adding that introducing the youth to Iqbal’s teachings and philosophy is the most pressing need of our time.
