GUJRAT, Sep 03 (APP):The district administration has announced the closure of all government and private educational institutions in Gujrat on Thursday, Sept 4, in view of the recent heavy monsoon rains and urban flooding.
According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, over 500 millimeters of rainfall was recorded during the past 24 hours, creating an emergency situation.
The decision was taken to ensure the safety and convenience of students, teachers, and their families.
