LAHORE, Jun 18 (APP):Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab on AI & Special Initiatives, Ali Dar, visited the headquarters of the Punjab Saaf Pani Authority.
He was received by Chairman Chaudhry Zahid Akram and Chief Executive Officer Captain (R) Syed Ali Asghar. During the visit, while he was briefed on the Authority’s ongoing projects, operational framework, and initiatives aimed at ensuring the provision of clean and safe drinking water across Punjab.
 Speaking on the occasion, Ali Dar said that under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Punjab is strengthening its e-governance framework and leveraging Artificial Intelligence to improve the quality and efficiency of public services.
Ali Dar noted that AI can play a transformative role in water quality monitoring and management by enabling real-time oversight, early detection of issues, and more effective operational decision-making.
He further emphasised that providing citizens with clean and safe drinking water remains a top priority of the Government of Punjab.
Ali Dar added that the province is expanding the use of AI across multiple sectors to enhance governance, modernize service delivery, and improve public welfare through technology-driven solutions
