LAHORE, Jul 30 (APP):The Lahore Arts Council at Alhamra organised a beautiful flute and sitar concert to promote classical music and celebrate Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, here on Wednesday.
Renowned artists Naushad Khan (flute), Ustad Saleem, and Moeen Khan (sitar) performed at the event, captivating the audience with their soulful and traditional music. Their performances reminded everyone of the deep roots and emotional power of classical Eastern instruments.
Alhamra Chairman Razi Ahmed said that in today’s fast-changing world, instruments like the flute and sitar are an important part of our culture and identity. He said these instruments still connect us to our traditions and artistic values.
Alhamra Executive Director Tauqeer Haider Kazmi added that the sitar and flute express human emotions in a unique way. He said Alhamra is proud to support classical music and provide artists a platform to keep these traditions alive.
