LAHORE, Nov 16 (APP): The Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) continues its tradition of welcoming international artists, strengthening cultural diplomacy through creative exchange.
Adding a distinguished new chapter to this legacy, the world-renowned Eve Klesse Quartet from Germany delivered an exceptional classical jazz performance at Alhamra, turning a cool November evening into a memorable celebration of global artistry. The event was held in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut, marking another milestone in Pakistan–Germany cultural relations.
Alhamra’s administration warmly welcomed the visiting artists and expressed appreciation for choosing Lahore as the stage for their musical journey. The Council noted that the quartet’s presence reflects Alhamra’s recognition as a leading cultural institution, offering audiences the rare opportunity to experience jazz at an international standard.
Alhamra Chairman Razi Ahmed said the Council is committed to presenting programs that expose Lahore’s residents to global cultural diversity. He added that hosting German artists not only enriches the city’s artistic landscape but also strengthens Alhamra’s international connections.
Executive Director Mahboob Alam described the performance as a moment of pride for Lahore.
