Al Khidmat Foundation hands over 21 truckloads of relief items to Afghan people at Torkham

LANDIKOTAL, Jan 7 (APP): Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan on Friday handed over 21 truckloads of relief goods and edible items to Afghan officials at Torkham border crossing in district Khyber.

The relief goods worth 30.2 million rupees that include winter clothing and other necessary items were given to Afghan officials under Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum.

The relief goods were handed over to In- Charge Internally Displaced Persons Afghanistan, Maulana Sheraz by Central Chairman Health Al Khidmat Foundation, Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Provincial President Al Khidmat Foundation, Dr. Sameeullah.

Relief goods were sent for Afghans who left their homes in Paktia, Nangarhar, Hilmand and Kabul due to sever cold and snowfall It is merits a mention that Al Khidmat Foundation has so far handed over 65 truckloads of 600 tons relief goods worth 160 million rupees to Afghan people at Angor Adda border crossing.

Afghan government has appreciated Pakistan government and AL Khidmat Foundation for their efforts to provide help and relief to Afghan people in this hour of need while Pakistan-Afghan Cooperation Forum has also assured continuation of assistance and help to Afghan people in future.
