AJK PM vows to uproot corruption, promote welfare state

MIRPUR, Feb 12 (APP):Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to eradicating corruption and establishing a truly healthy society in the state.
 Speaking at a reception ceremony in Panjeri town, Bhimber district on Wednesday, Haq emphasized that corruption must be rooted out from society and the system to transform the liberated territory into a welfare state.
To support unemployed youth, Prime Minister announced interest-free loans worth one billion rupees to help them start their own businesses. He also highlighted the importance of considering national interests while discussing individual rights, particularly in the context of the Kashmir issue.
Haq praised Pakistan’s armed forces for their sacrifices in defending the country’s sovereignty and announced the formation of a cabinet committee to oversee the issuance of health cards. He reiterated his commitment to promoting a politics of unity, rather than hatred and vendetta.
