LAHORE, Nov 20 (APP): Air pollution camps persist in Punjab, respiratory diseases have started to arise due to the unhealthy atmosphere.
According to the EPA environmental experts, the provincial capital Lahore is ranked fourth in the world in terms of air pollution, the average smog rate in the city is recorded at 366, Allama Iqbal Town has an air quality index of 734, Shalimar 720, Johar Town 586, Lower Mall 494 and the area around Cantt has been recorded at 423.
In addition, the air quality index in Gujranwala has been recorded at 645, Faisalabad 295, Bahawalpur 283 and Peshawar 444, while the Indian capital Delhi is in first place, with an AQI of 502.
On the other hand, Lahore’s minimum temperature is likely to be 11 degrees Celsius while the maximum is likely to be 26 degrees Celsius.
The current temperature of the city has been recorded at 16 degrees Celsius, the humidity in the air has reached 74 percent, and the wind speed has been recorded at two kilometers per hour.
According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of cloudy weather in Lahore in early December.
