Agribusiness Networking Fair organized in Shaheed Benazirabad

NAWABSHAH, Oct 22 (APP):Mahak Social Enterprises Platform, Shaheed Benazirabad, organised an Agribusiness Networking Fair at the H.M. Khawaja Auditorium Hall, Nawabshah, which drew a large number of participants, including local entrepreneurs, small farmers, growers, and representatives from civil society.
The event was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Mr Abdul Samad Nizamani, who also visited various stalls showcasing agricultural products, fruits, handicrafts, and food items.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani emphasized the importance of such fairs, saying that they play a vital role in encouraging and empowering the local business community.
International Trade Centre – ITC Program Manager, Mr Umar Arfi, highlighted the need for unity and collaboration among businesspersons, stating that joint ventures and collective efforts can help make businesses more sustainable and resilient.
Ali Gul Zardari, Chief Executive Officer of Mahak Social Enterprises Platform, addressed the gathering and said that the platform was established in Shaheed Benazirabad to support small farmers, growers, and agribusiness entrepreneurs.
The aim, he said, is to promote collective production, joint procurement of seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural machinery, enabling small producers to reduce costs and increase efficiency. He further informed that over 500 members have already joined the platform.
Akram Khaskheli, President of the Hari Welfare Association, stressed the need to raise business awareness among people, encouraging them to adopt modern and value-added agricultural practices.
Yaseen Khaskheli remarked that through the Mahak Social Enterprises Platform, businesspeople have been provided with a transparent and reliable platform to access markets, share information, and ensure quality trade aligned with buyers’ needs.
Other speakers, including Advocate Lalchand Lohano, Sarang Sindhu, Fida Baloch, Madam Zeb-un-Nisa, Mohsin Jalbani, Madam Shabana Saleem Raza Qureshi, Mohsin Kiryoo, Abdul Latif Khaskheli, and Rahib Ali, also addressed the event.
At the conclusion of the fair, souvenir shields, traditional Ajraks, and Lungi gifts were presented to distinguished guests and participating entrepreneurs in recognition of their contributions.
