LAHORE, Jul 07 (APP):Punjab University has started admissions in Allied Health Sciences for the first time after approval from the relevant bodies.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Ali on Monday told APP that Punjab University has started admissions in BS programs of Allied Health Sciences, Punjab University has offered admissions in 5-year Doctor of Physical Therapy this year.
The program aims to develop highly skilled and compassionate professionals in physical therapy. Eligibility criteria typically include FSc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent qualifications.
Punjab University has also started admissions in four-year Audiology and Medical Lab Technology, admissions have also started in the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences of Allied Health at Punjab University, admissions in Allied Health departments will be on a self-supporting basis.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Ali further informed that state-of-the-art laboratories and other facilities will be provided to the students.
