Administration’s effective measures control artificial inflation

TALAGANG, Feb 24 (APP):The Tehsil administration’s effective measures  and strict market regulation by Assistant Commissioner Talagang, Suleman Mansha have successfully controlled artificial inflation in the the town and leading to a significant reduction in the prices of essential fruits and vegetables.
According to official sources, continuous monitoring of the auction process, action against illegal profiteering by commission agents and traders, and enforcement of a transparent pricing mechanism restored stability in the market. The attempts by certain elements to create artificial shortages and manipulate prices were foiled through timely intervention by the administration.
A comparative review of official auction rates over the last three days shows a clear downward trend in prices:
Peas dropped from Rs 900 to Rs 500 per 17 kg
Tomatoes declined from Rs 1,400 to Rs 1,000 per 18 kg
Guava reduced from Rs 1,800 to Rs 1,300 per 10 kg
Apples fell from Rs 3,800 to Rs 3,100 per 15 kg
The assistant commissioner stated that providing relief to citizens in accordance with the Punjab government’s directives remained the administration’s top priority, adding that profiteering or price manipulation would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
