According to the official spokesperson here, during the visit, the ADC expressed displeasure over waste enclosures not meeting the prescribed standards and directed the concerned officials to construct their walls to the required height, paint them green and ensure that garbage remained out of public view.

Taking serious notice of garbage dumped at open plots, Muhammad Atif Sandhu directed the concerned authorities to issue notices to property owners and ensure immediate cleaning and fencing of the plots. He further instructed that all open plots be identified as sanitation hotspots, geo-tagged and included in a comprehensive list, with plots located along major roads to be cleared on a priority basis.
