GUJRAT, Sep 30 (APP):Additional Deputy Commissioner (Enforcement) Khizran Ali on Wednesday directed petrol pump owners to establish an effective complaint redressal mechanism to ensure maximum relief to consumers under the Prime Minister’s petrol subsidy scheme.
According to a spokesperson, chairing a meeting with representatives of the Petrol Pump Association, the ADC briefed them on the directions issued by the Chief Secretary Punjab regarding the smooth implementation of the relief initiative.
He announced that banners displaying complaint cell numbers would be displayed at all fuel stations across the district from Thursday to facilitate citizens in lodging grievances directly. He added that the complaint cell would also assist petrol pump owners in resolving operational issues promptly.
The ADC reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to ensuring transparency and full compliance during the execution of the subsidy scheme.
