DIR LOWER, Jan 15, (APP):Acting on the directives of Deputy Commissioner, Arif Khan, following complaints raised during an open court session, a swift operation was conducted on Wednesday to remove illegal speed breakers and roadside encroachments.
The operation, supervised by Assistant Commissioner Taimargarh, Zaid Safi, and led by Tehsildar Blambat, Saeedul Rehman, targeted the Kohere Malakand area.
During the surprise visit, illegal speed breakers on the road were removed, along with unauthorized sand, gravel, and construction materials placed along the roadside. Items such as blocks obstructing the area in front of shops were also cleared to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Tehsildar Blambat emphasized the importance of adhering to legal requirements and urged residents to avoid engaging in illegal encroachments.
He warned that strict legal action would be taken against violators in the future.
