Absenting civil judge’s resignation not received, says LHC

LAHORE, Dec 03 (APP):The Lahore High Court (LHC) spokesperson has stated that Civil Judge Syed Jahanzaib Bukhari remained willfully absent from duty for an extended period, prompting the court’s Administrative Committee to initiate departmental and disciplinary proceedings under the relevant rules.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the spokesperson stated that, after the committee’s decision, the judge circulated an alleged resignation on social media. However, the Lahore High Court clarified that no formal resignation has been received by the institution so far.
