ISLAMABAD, Nov 03 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi met with Rector of the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Shahid Mahmood Kayani, to discuss the potential and future development prospects of the Margalla Railway Station.
During the meeting, both sides held a detailed discussion on enhancing the station’s facilities and exploring ways to transform it into a modern public hub, said a news release issued here on Monday.
Hanif Abbasi said that the importance of the Margalla Railway Station will increase significantly in the coming years.
He informed that plans are underway to establish modern model restaurants, renovate the station and introduce various public convenience facilities.
The minister said that these initiatives would greatly benefit NUML students as well as residents of the nearby areas.
Shahid Mahmood appreciated the Federal Minister’s ongoing reforms and efforts to modernize Pakistan Railways.
He said that setting up a model food street at the Margalla Station would be a positive and welcoming step for both students and the general public.
