KOHAT, Dec 18 (APP):On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner of Kohat, Additional Assistant Commissioner-III Anam Mehmood on Thursday conducted a field visit to Mir Ahmad Khel, Kalu Chena, and College Town Urban-5. She was accompanied by the Patwari of Toug Circle, the UPEC Chairman, polio vaccination teams, and local police.
During the visit, the teams engaged with parents who had initially refused polio drops. They were briefed on the importance of vaccination and its role in protecting children from lifelong disability. After counseling, the parents agreed to cooperate, and their children were administered oral polio vaccine.
On this occasion, the district administration reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating polio, emphasizing that focused efforts will continue in refusal-prone areas to ensure every child receives the essential drops.
