SARGODHA, Jul 31 (APP):The police recovered 8.5-kg Ice from a suitcase placed in a passenger bus on Thursday.
According to a press release issued by the DPO office, during routine checking at the Laksian Toll Plaza, the police recovered 17 packets of Ice hidden inside a suitcase placed in the luggage compartment of the bus.
According to a police spokesman, the total weight of the seized drugs was approximately 8.5-kg.
An initial investigation revealed that the suitcase was loaded onto the bus in Dera
Ismail Khan.
A case was registered and the narcotics were taken into custody. Further investigations are
underway to identify and apprehend the responsible.
