SIALKOT, Oct 09 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Saba Asghar Ali chaired a meeting of the District Polio Eradication Committee and reviewed the arrangements for the National Immunization Days starting on October 13.
A total of 795,877 children under five years of age would be given anti-polio drops through 2,878 teams across 124 union councils of the district.
The DC termed polio eradication a national duty and directed departments to ensure foolproof security and effective monitoring.
She urged parents to cooperate with polio teams to make Sialkot and Pakistan polio-free.
