MUZAFFARGARH, Mar 01 (APP):On the special directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Chairperson of the Punjab Sahulat Bazaar Authority, Malik Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, visited the Negahban Ramzan Bazaar established at Sahulat Bazaar Muzaffargarh to review administrative arrangements and assess public facilitation measures.
During the visit, the chairperson conducted a detailed inspection of the market and interacted with citizens, inquiring about the prices and quality of essential commodities. Shoppers expressed satisfaction over the availability of daily-use items at rates even lower than officially notified government prices.
Malik Muhammad Afzal Khokhar also reviewed cleanliness standards, security arrangements, and the Senior Citizen Camp set up to facilitate elderly visitors. He commended the local administration for maintaining high standards of organization and service delivery.
Officials stated that millions of citizens are benefiting daily from Sahulat Bazaars across the province. Currently, 75 Sahulat Bazaars are operational throughout Punjab, serving as a significant source of relief for the public, particularly during the holy month of Ramzan.
The chairperson reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring quality, affordability, and transparency in the provision of essential goods. Expressing satisfaction over both pricing and quality control measures, she appreciated the efforts of the Sahulat Bazaar management and encouraged them to continue delivering efficient services to the people of Punjab.
