6 bike lifters arrested, 9 stolen motorcycles recovered

RAWALPINDI, May 30 (APP): The Rawalpindi Police on Friday arrested six accused involved in street crime, including bike lifting, from different areas of the district and recovered nine stolen motorcycles and other valuables from them.

According to the police spokesman, the Wah Saddar Police busted a gang of three criminals recovering five stolen motorcycles, Rs 12,500 snatched from citizens, and weapons from them.

The Kallar Syedan Police also nabbed a gang of two bike lifters. Three stolen motorcycles were recovered from their possession.

Similarly, the New Town Police detained an accused involved in a motorcycle theft case. The stolen motorcycle was also recovered from him.
