MULTAN, Jul 08 (APP):In a heartfelt tribute to Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Young Pakistanis Organization (YPO) is scheduled to organize annual Mother of the Nation Conference & Awards 2025 at Women University Multan on Wednesday, July 9, her 58th death anniversary.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Kulsoom Paracha, would preside over the conference, aimed to reconnect the youth with the heroic struggles and sacrifices of Pakistan’s founding figures, particularly Fatima Jinnah, who stood shoulder to shoulder with her brother, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, during the Pakistan Movement.
President of YPO, Naeem Iqbal Naeem, said in a statement that Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah was a symbol of courage, wisdom, and integrity and the annual conference was scheduled not only to honor her memory but also to inspire young minds to embrace her legacy.
Keynote guests expected to attend the conference included MPA Mrs. Maqsooda Ansari, former Director Colleges and President Nazaria-e-Pakistan Forum Prof. Dr. Hameed Raza Siddiqui, spiritual leader Makhdoom Shoaib Akmal Qureshi Hashmi, Chairman department of gender studies BZU Multan Mureed Hussain Malik, CEO Chaudhry Brothers Textile Mills Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali, Chairman National Commission for Interfaith Harmony and Human Rights South Punjab Chaudhry Abrar Hussain, former DO Special Education Mian Muhammad Majid, and APWA executive member Mrs. Tahira Najam.
Distinguished personalities from academic, social, and political circles would be given Mother of the Nation Awards in recognition of their contributions to education, social welfare, gender equality, and interfaith harmony.
