SIALKOT, Oct 22 (APP):Sialkot Police on Wednesday arrested five shopkeepers who were involved in tampering number plates of vehicles and motorbikes to cheat and deceive Police Department and the cameras of Safe City.
According to a spokesman for DPO, after receiving information, police department kick-started a crackdown against all those shop keepers who tempered the number plates of bikes and vehicles.
These shopkeepers fixed suck kind of chemical on number plates which can not be identified by the police department and the cameras of safe city, helping out criminals in crime related activities, challans etc.
In this regard, police successfully arrested five shopkeepers and recovered chemicals from their possessions.
DPO, Faisal Shehzad said that crackdown has been taken off against these shopkeepers to reduce crime ration from district Sialkot.
