RAWALPINDI, Jul 10 (APP):The Rawalpindi Police during operations across the district on Thursday arrested 16 accused, including five drug peddlers, and 11 liquor suppliers and illegal arms owners.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesperson, more than 3.5 kilograms charas was recovered from the detained drug peddlers.
The Dhamial Police nabbed an accused with 1.78 kg charas while the Sadiqabad Police held two accused on the recovery of 1.5 kg of the contraband item.
Similarly, the Ratta Amaral and Jatli Police detained an accused each with 560 grams and 542 grams charas respectively.
Meanwhile, 11 accused were taken into custody from the areas of Ratta Amral, Waris Khan, Gujar Khan and Jatli police stations on the recovery of 10 liters of liquor and illegal weapons along with ammunition.
