PESHAWAR, Aug 09 (APP):In a bid to eliminate illegal businesses and address public grievances, the district administration on Friday conducted an operation against an illegal vegetable market on Dilazak Road, arresting 41 individuals and dismantling the market.
The operation, carried out in the morning, removed all encroachments in the illegal market, causing road blockages and traffic jams, resulting in difficulties for citizens.
According to the district administration, public complaints were received about the illegal market, prompting the operation.
Legal action will be taken against the arrested individuals, and operations against illegal business activities will continue in various parts of Peshawar.
The district administration has urged the public to cooperate and report any illegal activities promptly.
